Tao and Francis Together on the Mainly Mozart Festival Orchestra

================================================================

Conrad Yiwen Tao, the American composer, pianist, and violinist. Tao was born in Urbana, Illinois to a Chinese-American engineer Sam Tao and MingFang Ting, a research scientist.  Both parents were born in China and earned doctorate degrees at the Princeton University.

Tao was said to just overhear his sister playing piano and since then at the age of only 18 months, he would plink out children’s songs on the piano by ears.

His very first piano recital is at the age of four years old. By 8 yrs.old he began his piano debut with the Utah Chamber  Music Festival Orchestra where he performed Mozart’s Piano Concerto in a Major.

His skills in piano playing continued to shine and he began to make a name of his own in the music industry.  Now, Conrad Tao is one of the most highly-skilled pianists with a world-acclaimed fame and recognition in most parts of the world for his great piano skills.

In this year’s Mainly Mozart Festival Orchestra, Conrad Tao will grace the event together with Music Director, Michael Francis. This will entirely be a different concert as the two will be pairing together.

Tao and Francis tandem on stage will truly bring you into a magical nostalgia of Mozart and Beethoven’s masterpieces. The magical baton of Michael Francis, conducting the orchestra with the grand piano at the center being played by world-class pianist Conrad Tao is one night to remember at the Mainly Mozart Festival Orchestra.

Tao at the young age of 23 has so much to proud of in the field of music.  He is a young achiever and has so much to share with his raw and young talent.  As he aged, there will be so much to be honed in him.  The older he becomes, the better he gets.

Mainly Mozart Festival Orchestra will showcase the great talent and skills of Conrad Tao, as he shows his brilliance and prowess in his piano playing skills.  The orchestra of Michael Francis had collaborated well with Tao, as the music blend well with the vibrato of Tao’s music.

Tao does not only play the piano, he also does the violin.  During his younger age, Tao also studied playing the violin but he expressed greater interest in playing the piano.

Tao played Elliot Carter’s 2007, Catenaires for his encore during the Mainly Mozart Festival Orchestra. The symphony just mesmerized everybody present at the scene. This is truly the peak of the celebration, having two great artists in one great concert.
